Design considerations
- Require a high battery capacity and an efficient motor often housed in space constraint positions
- Some all-terrain vehicles may require additional motors depending on total output power and whether they offer two- or four-wheel drive (4WD)
- Typically use a Brushless DC motor but can also employ permanent magnet DC motor (15 kW max) for quad-bikes and ATVs
- Power MOSFETs have best-in-class power density and current rating, and low heat and high efficiency.
- LED and Gate drivers provide low cost custom solutions driven by component reduction demand
- ESD protection for interfaces to avoid field failure

Improve accuracy of AOI in PCB production by using modern package technology
To enhance AOI Nexperia has introduced its new lead shape which is featured in packages such as the CFP15B and CFP2-HP. Watch this video and learn how this new lead shape delivers a more uniform solder joint which is easier to detect with AOI.
