This symbol indicates products compliant with EU RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) Directive 2011/65/EU, as amended by Directive 2015/863/EU. To the best of our knowledge, these products meet the requirements set forth in the Directive and make use of the exemptions provided in RoHS 7(a) (lead in high melting temperature type solders) or 7(c)-I (lead in a glass or ceramic other than dielectric ceramic in capacitors). However, please note that we cannot guarantee that third-party products incorporating Nexperia parts will also comply with EU RoHS.
This symbol indicates products compliant with EU RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) Directive 2011/65/EU, as amended by Directive 2015/863/EU, and the Chinese ACPEIP (Administration on the Control of Pollution Caused by Electronic Information Products) or "China RoHS". To the best of our knowledge, these products meet the requirements set forth in both regulations without any exemptions. However, please note that we cannot guarantee compliance of third-party products incorporating Nexperia parts with EU and/or CN RoHS.
To meet Nexperia's halogen-free definition, a product must not contain any intentionally added chlorine, bromine, or antimony oxides. Additionally, 900 ppm of chlorine and bromine combined (glass diodes: 1500 ppm) and 900 ppm of antimony oxides, respectively, must not be exceeded on the homogeneous material level.
Products marked with the lead-free (Pb-free) symbol are free of more than 0.1 % lead on the homogeneous material level.
Nexperia uses the RHF indicator to indicate both the RoHS compliance status and halogen content of a product in one letter. RHF stands for "RoHS Halogen-Free". These indicators can be found on commercial products and their packaging labels. The RHF indicators are defined as follows:
Non-RoHS-compliant. All non-RoHS-compliant products, regardless of their halogen-free status. |
Exempted. Products that contain EU RoHS-exempted lead and are not halogen-free. |
Halogen-free. Products that contain EU RoHS-exempted lead and are halogen-free. |
Green. Products that fully comply with RoHS without exemptions and are not halogen-free. |
Dark Green. Products that fully comply with RoHS without exemptions and are halogen-free. |
