HCS

Nexperia's new HCS technology offers superior noise rejection and is immune to slow transitioning signals which is often a design challenge. It prevents multiple switching when driven by slow edges and are well suited for high frequency applications. HCS devices support a wide supply voltage range from 2.0 V to 6.0 V and are fully specified at 3.0 V to 3.6 V and 4.5 V to 5.5 V.

The portfolio will cover a wide variety of functions including shift registers, gates, buffers, transceivers, flip-flops, multiplexers and decoders in a variety of packages (SO, TSSOP and DHVQFN). They can also be requested in the innovative DHXQFN package.

Features and benefits

  • Offers a true Schmitt trigger at all inputs.
  • Strong immunity to noise and slow edges
  • 5 ns typical propagation delay
  • Low power consumption typical Icc = 100nA
  • Typical input leakage current (II ) of ±100 nA
  • ±7.8 mA output drive at 6 V

Applications

  • Automotive
  • Industrial
  • Consumer electronics
  • Computer peripherals
  • Communications
