NXP FS86 Functional safety
For ADAS and automotive electrification, functional safety is increasingly vital. NXP's evaluation board for the FS86 Safety SBC for domain control (ASIL B and D) highlights it's power capability, the safety integration and system scalability of domain controller applications to address multiple MCU requirements. Several Nexperia parts feature on this board.

- Ideal for domain controller and ADAS applications including radar and vision in 24 V and 12 V battery networks
- Board features multiple switch mode regulators as well as LDO voltage regulators and a boost
- Enhanced leader/follower power up sequencing management thru XFAILB pin
- Up to 10 voltage monitoring with +/-1% accuracy
- Device control via 32 bits I2C interface with 8-bit CRC
- Permanent device customization via One Time Programmable (OTP) memory
- Scalable portfolio from Automotive Safety Integrity Levels (ASIL) B to D
